Salma has been working passionately in the field of special education for the last 18 years now. With a Master’s Degree from the University of British Columbia in Canada in Special Education, she has worked in Canada for 13 years and in Egypt for the last 6 years. Salma is a behaviour consultant and works with different schools and preschools all over Cairo supporting students, teachers and parents. She strongly believes in working closely with families and supporting the child in all environments.

Samara (Abdelhadi) Khater MS OTR, received her Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy in 2014 and her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from TUFTS University in 2021. Samara completed her practicum at MGH Mass General hospital in hand and upper extremity in Boston, USA. She is now a certified and licensed occupational therapist from associations in Jordan and NY, USA. Samara has 8 years of experience in paediatric occupational therapy, and has worked in Jordan, New York, and Cairo. Samara was the head of the occupational therapy department for 3 and a half years at the Effective Learning Foundation in Cairo. Currently, she is working at Boston University's College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant in Motor Development and Neuroscience. Samara is also the founder and the host of the Arabic-based podcast “Therapy Bl Araby” to discuss children’s developmental through the lens of occupational therapy, speech therapy, play therapy, and cognitive behaviour therapy. With more than 5,000 listeners across all podcast platforms, the podcast also tackles different neurodevelopment disorders such as ADHD, ASD, learning disorders, and motor development issues  in Arabic. Samara offers consultation and online sessions to help children with multiple difficulties, including developmental delay issues, sensory integration disorder, ADHD, ASD, CP, DownSyndrome, as well as children with motor planning, coordination, fine motor,  cognitive behavioural, and visual perception difficulties.

Using research-based strategies, Sara offers opportunities for learners to think critically, creatively, and compassionately. She believes that learners thrive in a kind, relational and joyful environment where each student’s voice shapes cross-disciplinary investigations of real-world phenomena. Her approach to learning is one that develops the dispositions of compassionate thinkers and shapes global citizens who generate positive communities. Sara consults parents on how to foster healthy home environments that complement their child's school experiences.

Sarah graduated from the Faculty of General Education, Department of Psychology of Menya University in 2017. She worked at Kayan Association for People with Special Disabilities as a skills development and sensory integration specialist in individual sessions for two years. She holds a training certificate to train special education specialists and sensory integration specialists. Sarah is currently working at the Evangelical Association Centre for the Rehabilitation and Integration of People of Determination and is a psychologist and sensory integration specialist.

Sarah Sedky is the founder of Dyslexic Community Worldwide, an online platform that spreads awareness and educates societies in Egypt about dyslexia. Having dyslexia herself, she is an advocate for adults and children with dyslexia in Egypt. Sarah also provides group sessions with ReaDEFY in the US for students with dyslexia, in the hope of developing their academic and social skills.

Through her work as an educational therapist, Sherry conducts initial assessments and screenings in order to integrate their results in developing a wide range of applicable strategies for teaching. Sherry integrates a child-led, multi-sensory, and holistic approach to educational therapy that focuses on supporting the students' social, emotional, and academic development. She is also a Positive Discipline Parenting Educator, certified by the Positive Discipline Association in California, who strives to support every parent she works with on their unique parenting journey with all its joys and struggles. Sherry has conducted a number of training workshops for parents, teachers, and other professionals in the field on techniques for supporting students with special educational needs holistically. Through her social media account "Child & Family Development", Sherry shares valuable information for parents and professionals about developmental milestones, positive discipline, educational therapy, and child psychology. Sherry is currently seeing clients at the Learning Intervention Unit which is part of the Maadi Psychology Centre, in both their New Cairo and Zamalek branches.

The Special Olympics is a global movement of people creating a new world of inclusion and community, where every single person is accepted and welcomed. The movement helps to make the world a better, healthier and more joyful place—one athlete, one volunteer, one family member at a time. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Their athletes also recieve access to medical check-ups and treatments from specialised doctors and clinics. Additionally, the Special Olympics organise awareness events in various schools and youth clubs to educate and empower families and individuals all across Egypt.

Susanna is a certified trainer in Positive Discipline from the American Positive Discipline Association in Texas and a specialist in Behaviour Modification from Ain Shams University. She has worked with a number of families through training workshops and webinars. Through Esaal Platform, Ecadema Platform, and Time Viewer, she offers parent consultations and coaching online.

Founded by Alia El Naggar in 2012, Swedish Specialised Centre for Special Needs was created to support and provide therapy for children with autism and their families. Tamer is a psychosocial practitioner and the Programs Director and Founder at CIPPO. He graduated from Anglia Ruskin University with a BSc (Honours) in Applied Psychology and continued my post graduate education with a PGcert from Manchester Metropolitan. Tamer has been working with children for more than 8 years now from special education to behavioural and emotional challenges. He really looks forward to developing children's social and emotional competencies through integrative, collaborative, and natural environment practices.

Tarek has been working with children with learning and developmental disabilities for 13 years. He started his career in Egypt but then left to the US to complete his Masters degree in Autism Spectrum Disorder and has been practicing in the US for the past 10 years. Tarek has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2014 and has worked with children and adults with autism of all ages. Tarek is now back in Cairo and hopes to give back to the community where he began his career.

Tasnim is a speech and language therapist at AFAQ Centre where she leads therapy sessions with children with a range of disabilities including autism spectrum disorder. She works closely with families to monitor their children's objectives and development. Tasnim is also a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) and is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in Oral Replacement Therapy (Level 1). She has also completed courses from Ain Shams University in Behaviour Modification and Learning Disabilities.

Tawasol was founded in 2008 as an NGO registered with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to serve the low-income communities in three of Cairo’s informal slum areas: Ezzbet Khairallah, Istabl Antar, and Batn el Ba’ara/Dar Al Salam. In December 2020, it opened a new school that accommodates up to 500 students including children with special needs from the neighboring areas. The new Tawasol school includes a multisports playground, a 150-seat theatre, cafeteria with a state of the art kitchen, a school library, an art room, a computer lab in addition to 12 classes, 13 workshops, and a showroom for Tawasol’s products.

This charitable foundation focuses exclusively on children suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare skin disease. It was established in 2014 with 20 EB patients and has now reached over 200 EB patients across Egypt and various Arab countries. The foundation's aim is to spread awareness of EB to EB families in order to prevent their children from reaching disability status. They also train and teach nurses at governmental hospitals on how to deal with EB children.

Youstina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media, Radio and Television Division and an Educational Diploma from Beni Suef University. Additionally, she has a General Diploma in Special Education from Beni Suef's Faculty of Science for People with Special Needs. Youstina is currently completing her special diploma in Speech from Beni Suef's Faculty of Science for People with Special Needs and has worked as a speech therapist at Kayan Association from 2016 to 2022. Moreover, Youstina is also working as the director of the Rehabilitation Centre for People of Determination at the Evangelical Society for Continuing Development and is also a speech therapist at the centre.

Zayee Zayak is a non-governmental organisation that is devoted to fostering the inclusion and empowerment of individuals with disabilities.

Zeina has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Economics from the University of St Andrews, Scotland and a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Sciences from University College London (UCL). She trained at the Behman Psychiatric Hospital for 6 months before working at the addiction department of the Hospital for 1 year as a clinical psychologist. There, she delivered regular individual and group therapy sessions for people suffering from substance misuse problems along with depression and anxiety. She also trained at the NHS in London for 6 months, where she worked with people with Alzheimer's. Zeina believes in the importance of providing clients with a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic, and nurturing environment that makes them feel comfortable in sharing their stories. She believes that each person's experience is unique and that therapy is a collaborative process. Her experience has provided her with the skills needed to carry out individual and group therapy sessions for people of various cultural backgrounds, ages, and mental health concerns through highly-individualised and client-focused integrated approaches that utilise cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic techniques.
