Meryt Tawfilis is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with an M.A. in Special Education and ABA from Arizona State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the American University in Cairo. She is the founder and ABA Program Director of Bloom, one of the first centers in Egypt providing therapy based on the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. With a passion for teaching and helping differently-abled children, Ms. Tawfilis has provided behavior analytic services to more than one hundred children with Autism and other developmental disabilities focusing on early intervention and teaching verbal behavior to non-vocal children. She has consulted for multiple centers, nurseries and schools in Egypt and Arab countries, as well as virtually trained hundreds of professionals around the Arab world.
