Dr. Yassmin Elnawawy (MRCPsych, MD, MSc) is a Lecturer of Psychiatry in the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University and works in child psychiatry in addition to general psychiatry in Aboul Rish and Kasr Al-Ainy Hospitals. She has just returned from London, UK, where she worked with a team specialized in children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders (namely, autism spectrum disorder; ADHD, and Tourette’s disorder) in West London NHS Trust for 3 years and where she completed her training and qualifications for the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and the Developmental, Dimensional, and Diagnostic Interview (3Di) standard assessments of autism.

Dr. Elnawawy is an Associate Clinical Teacher in the School of Medicine in Imperial College, London, UK. She is also a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK.

Dr. Elnawawy attends Oasis Clinics Zayed & Behmen Clinics Maadi where she offers:

1. Assessments and care for autism and ADHD in children & adolescents & adults
2. Assessments and care for children and adolescents (age 0-18) with behavioural or mental health concerns (for example, children or adolescents with depression; anxiety; suicidal behaviour or self-harm; exaggerated/ prolonged reactions to grief or trauma; posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD); or psychotic disorders)
3. Therapy sessions.
