Ahmed Nabil Khattab, M.B,,B.ch, M.sc, M.D. is an assistant professor in the Unit of Phoniatrics, Ear, Nose and Throat Department, Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt. With over twenty years of experience in the field of Phoniatrics (speech and language pathology) in different work setting as hospitals, schools, private practice, nurseries and nursing facilities with various age groups such as preschool children, school aged children and adults. His clinical experience covers diagnosis and treatment of language disorders, speech disorders, voice disorders, cochlear rehabilitation, swallowing disorders and learning disabilities. As a bilingual phoniatrician (speech and language pathologist) he has a special interest in speech and language disabilities in populations with diverse linguistic backgrounds and learning disabilities with several publications as research articles and therapy programs in such fields among others. Ahmed is an advocate for early intervention and is passionate about working with children and their families in a one-to-one settings and group settings to promote social, emotional and behavioral health and academic success with a solid belief in creating individualized treatment for all of his clients with a family-centered approach by developing strong trusting relationships with his clients and their families. In addition to being a certified Listening Program ® Provider, he is a certified Orton Gillingham ® therapist with level one course certification in DIR ® and Talk Tools ® and a member of the ANA, IALP and ESPL.
